Keighley Cougars Reviews

It was a very enjoyable afternoon at Cougar Park.I'll be attending again very soon.

I have not been to the ground for 20 years. I enjoyed the day but could see how much it is due the new stand. It’s a shame you can’t liaise with the cricket ground who have money for indoor nets. You could really make a space to benefit both clubs and the town. It would take some additional investment but an outstanding facility would lead the way into the next century and be the envy of their rivals.

 We lost

 Well organised

Loved it. First time at the ground for at least 40 years. It's a proper league ground and proper league experience. Vocal local crowd. Honest play on the park. Love it

 Easy to book

Had great customer service. I had a query about tickets responded to almost immediately by two very senior members of the club. Stewards were friendly as was the person on the pre-paid ticket gate.

 The purchase was good.

The website was nice and easy to use and checkout was simple. Can't ask for more.

  Disappointing

 Yes great

Paid online with credit card and was advised to collect tickets at the ground. When we arrived at the ground turnstile operators did not know what to do. No tickets were available to pick up. Turnstile operators consulted colleague and we were allowed to enter. Turnstile staff were professional and courteous. I found the PA system very loud and difficult to understand and the noises being made over it seemed distasteful and sometimes annoying. Good luck with the playoffs.

 Nice easy to use website

Emailed about getting a refund for the game considering it was cancelled and that we drove an hour there and back only to be there for 30 minutes but never got a response or acknowledgement, very poor customer service, hopefully when a change off ownership comes in they'll have some proper sense not too rip off their fans like this

A really good game and enjoyed my visit to Cougar park. Will come again a and when it's possible.

Excellent start to the season by a fairly new and young squad. All played brilliantly. Keep that up and we will have a good season 👌👍

i couldent make it as i ad infection but seemed very good match credit to team see you very soon

Good pre season game for both teams, feusty and good rugby.

Really enjoyed the event and lovely touch to see the legacy players. Always interested to see how teams warm up, thought keighley looked flat, lacked intensity, players cutting corners and made decision making easy for their team mates. 5/10. Years

As an Explayer it was great to come back and meet up with both players of my generation over 50 years ago along with others from the past It was wonderful to be accepted back by the club and its owners Let’s hope they have more results like today next season

Great game - great atmosphere - great win!

 We lost again

Great game and a good win. Great first half but fell away a bit in second half. Need to play well for 80 mins. Good result onwards and upwards for rest of the season.

Fantastic game and such an inclusive atmosphere

 Disappointing finish to match.

Always welcoming and friendly.. final score didn't reflect the game.

 Appalling performance

 Great crowd. Friendly

Loved it. Two evenly matched teams slugging it out in miserable April weather. Great vocal crowd. Loved it.

Certainly a big improvement on the ,Aston few games. Great first half but went downhill in the second half. Onwards and upwards cougars.

Noticed all the children and their parents leaving after their half time performance. Why can't we have a cougar cheer leading school that supports the players during the game. I guess they and their parents had free entry. Were they included in the crowd stats? Very disappointed 😞

The first half was a disappointing performance from Cougars but much, much better in the second half, a shame that we lost by just two points!? If only we had a ‘kicker’, fly-half that could kick accurately and converted our trys, we would have won.

Showing some promise. Tired in second half, looked difficult toget over the game line. Need to get improve tactical play. Easy to say sat here.

Poor game no idea how to break a team down

Bad display. Onwards and upwards for the league.

Atmosphere was good club shop decent great value for money.

Everyone had a great time. Its a shame about the score but it was a good day out and will hopefully do it again. Many thanks for the discount as it really helps. Thanks again Dawn

It was our first time visiting Cougar Park. Seating was ample if a little unforgiving on the body after 80 minutes. Facilities were ok in the gents but my daughter noted there was no lighting in the female cubicle. The hot food stall was very tasty and reasonably priced. A Bulls victory was the only thing missing and why I'm not scoring the event 5 stars. Even with the weather as it was we had a good day out.

Cougars did not seem as if they wanted to win this game. They do not seem to change what they are doing so the opposition knows what is going to happen. They are therefore ready to take action to stop Cougars getting anywhere near try line.

Very, very slow service to get hot drink

 2024 play off final?

A shocking end to a disgraceful season ...thankfully, despite buying a ticket to support the club, I stayed at home and watched on TV. Thank goodness I did - I would have been ashamed to have been there!

 Nail biting at the end

A wonderful day. Must come more often!

 It was great.

 enjoyed the day, thank you

Good game. Some sloppy mistakes could have won if lads played to their potential.

Fantastic day : Oldham champions : hosted by the Cougars thank you for playing we are the champions at the end 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

A bit sloppy at times but a good win. Well done to the hurricanes they never gave up. Game spoilt by some bad refereeing decisions.

very friendly and a good game of rugby, well run

The last match was an amazing experience for my family. My little boy said he would like to be a rugby player in the future! And the atmosphere was also great, everyone was cheering. Fantastic work!

Didn’t win, but take a draw before a loss any day! 😉

 Good a

 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Superb atmosphere and a well maintained stadium from all perspectives

 Great result! Well done Cougars👏👏👏👏

 Great game

 Didn't go clshed withleeds utd

Smooth entry, friendly crowd enjoyed the afternoon. One small problem....The intercom. It was far too noisy, couldn't hold a conversation and annoying interjections during the game.l

Although my team didn't play as well as previous..The referring of the game was shocking, and the fact that the time keeping was shocking. I certainly didn't get the full games experience. Instances where the were game clock should have been stopped didn't happen during the second half of the game. So when the hooter went to signifying the end of the game play should have continued for at least 5 more minutes if not longer

Not what I expected, but Chapeau to Hunslet.

Lack of open turnstiles, poor on field performance

A good day out. Confused referee????

Cracking game of rugby, great performance from the lads.

Ground is just like I remembered it.

Always good to attend Cougar Park.

 Great performance.

The team is coming together, great win👍

 Very good Cornish support.

Good start to league season, great entertainment.
